Greendale Babies
So here’s the “opening” animation I worked on for the season premiere of Community (Astute viewers may or may not see that this parody was inspired by Muppet Babies) along with some other scenes later in the episode with the wonderful folks at Titmouse Inc. The super talented Allison Craig, designed, directed and animated on it, Clarke Snyder created the BGs and Ben Kalina produced it. It was an incredibly fun project. Enjoy!

Hangin' in Treme
Hey guys, I kind of sort of really like HBO's Treme. So much so that I might have accidentally fanart myself this morning.
Fanart is a verb now.

Skyfall and London
About a week a go I got back from a Europe trip where I visited some family in London that I haven't seen for a long while. I've also seen Skyfall a couple times in theatres (which I highly recommend seeing, if only just for the cinematography).
So this was kind of born out of the London high that I'm on lately!

Space Shenanigans
My good friend Ashlyn Antsee sent me this rad postcard of a space lady:
And I thought, 'what is she so surprised by?' But then proper sense took over and told me it was obviously space bear:
He doesn't like when you borrow his space suits.
Another good friend, Andrew Murray, also got a postcard and has given it a spin as well.
Thanks Ashlyn!

Christmas in June
Kinda late and also kinda early to be posting this. But this was something I worked on for a 2012 calendar I did with some friends last year. Can you guess what month I was?
I had a good time with this, and hope we can all get together to do another project soon.
Inspiration was Canada's own hobo:
Hooray for obscure 70's/80's TV show references!

Motorcity
I'm really proud and honored to be working on this show with some of the most talented and dedicated people I've ever known, some of which are very close friends (Check my blog links for Braden Poirier, Kyu-bum Lee, Andrew Wilson.). I had a blast down there and those guys really made it feel like I was visiting family. I'm back, rejuvenated and ready to start working on this kickass show again. Cheers to the team for all the inspiration!
Canadians have to wait a while 'til it premieres here (Saturday, May 26, 6:30pm; Disney XD). But you can checkout the first episode here: http://disney.go.com/xd/motorcity/videos/?video=0_doaxqzjn
